Hi,

My name is Corneilius. I live in London and have had a Bansky spray painted (I think!?) placard of The Grim Reaper, with a smily face, and a black 'wrong war' underneath TGR.....

I was given it at Hyde Park, on the day of the huge peace march in 2003. I was delighted to carry it. And as no-one asked for it to be returned I took it home, where it lives.

It is unsigned, though I have added my own graph on the back to id it as mine...

Enclosed is a photo of same. And a photo of my graph, on a TV, in my garden!

How many were made, and were they made by Mr. B himself?

Has it any value?

Kindest regards

Corneilius Crowley

Hi Jake,

There appears to be new stickman figures on the intersection of Grand and Wooster, and I mean literally on the intersection. There are about 6 figures of different sizes and colors done right on the pavement in the street. He also put up a new poster on Greene between Grand and Canal (or Grand and Broome...? I'm pretty sure it was the former) on floor level.

I have attached pictures.

*hello! some press for a new banksy book** *
*Banksy's Bristol: Home Sweet Home* Hardback, RRP £12 112pp, full colour, 225mm x 225mm ISBN: 9781906477004

Home Sweet Home is a celebration of Banksy's street art in his home city of Bristol. This book places him in the context of 3D, John Nation from the Barton Hill Settlement, Inkie, Nick Walker and the other artists and musicians who were instrumental in linking Bristol to the original New York hip hop scene.

It is the most revealing account of Banksy's formative years and contains more than one hundred images of his Bristol art, as well as pictures of Banksy at work, many of which have never been published before.

Steve Wright, Venue magazine's Art Editor, traces Banksy's roots back to the rave culture of the Nineties and draws a rounded picture of an artist who is most famous for being anonymous.

Banksy's Bristol is available from Tangent Books from December 1st 2007.

I've been spotting these birds in Brooklyn (Bushwick, Park Slope and Prospect Heights) since about 2005. I thought I'd share some of my favorites. I've spotted posts of these birds on random people's Flickr's, and other random sites, but thought I'd share them with you.

If you know anything about the artist, I'd be interested in learning more.

Thanks! Aly
